Why choose the FirmCore Plus
The FirmCore Plus puts 22 cm of independent pocket spring under a 25 cm mattress, so most of what you are lying on is spring rather than padding. Each spring is cased on its own, which is what lets one side of the bed move without carrying the movement across.
Above the springs are three separate layers — spray cotton, high-density foam, firm comfort foam — finished as a euro top stitched level with the border. The comfort layers add surface cushioning while the firm reading underneath stays firm. The cover is a 300 gsm anti-bacterial knitted fabric.
The knitted cover is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and the foams are CertiPUR-US® certified, with SGS testing on the materials. Certificate numbers are available from our team on request.
This is the deeper of the two FirmCore builds, 5 cm more than the Classic, with the euro top and the spray-cotton layer as the upgrade. Both read Firm; the Plus puts more between you and the springs.
