Velvet Beds

Velvet beds are upholstered bed frames whose padded head, foot and side panels are covered in velvet fabric, so the fabric surface itself forms the bed's finish rather than exposed timber or metal. Betalife's velvet bed range covers Single, King Single, Double and Queen sizes in grey, beige, pink and champagne pink, and takes in plain padded frames, a gas lift version whose platform hinges up on struts, a frame with built-in storage, a Single trundle, and a Queen frame carrying a pull-out Single beneath it. Velvet is a pile fabric, so its colour reads differently depending on which way the pile is brushed and where the light falls.
