Questions before you buy
What mattress size fits the Rila double velvet bed frame?
A standard 138 x 188 cm double mattress, resting on the wooden slat base. Order double sheets and a double duvet to match; the mattress is sold separately.
How tall is the Rila double velvet headboard?
109.5 cm from the floor, with a 49.5 cm panel worked in deep diamond button stitching. The buttons give the velvet visual texture under bedroom lighting.
How much floor space does the Rila double need?
194 x 141 cm, with the 141 cm measured across the headboard. The frame body is 137.5 cm wide, so use 141 cm when checking an alcove.
How high does the Rila double sit off the floor?
The side rail reaches 30.5 cm above the floor on 15 cm tapered legs, which keeps the base looking light and leaves room for a slim storage box.
How is grey velvet cared for on the Rila frame?
Vacuum the pile lightly with a brush head every few weeks and brush it back in one direction, which keeps the nap even across the buttoned headboard.
How does the Rila double arrive?
In one carton measuring 147 x 62.5 x 15 cm and weighing 29.5 kg, with assembly required on site.
