A chest of drawers is the bedroom's main store for folded clothing, and drawers NZ bedrooms use run from three-drawer chests through to eleven-drawer units. Betalife's collection spans tall vertical chests, slim tallboys sized for narrow gaps, wide lowboys that double as a dresser surface, and chest dressers that pair a drawer bank with a mirror. Construction is mostly MDF board with a melamine finish; a few models use a steel frame with fabric drawer boxes instead of rigid panels. Finishes include oak, white, black, walnut, rustic brown, dark grey, grey oak and two-tone. Because furniture standing taller than 60cm ships with a wall anti-tip device as standard, the taller chests here include one in the carton.
