Storage Beds

A storage bed turns the volume under the mattress into usable space, and two mechanisms are in use. A gas lift bed sits on a hinged base that the whole mattress platform rises with; Betalife's gas lift models use two gas struts, each rated at 60 kg, so the base opens the full footprint in one movement. A drawer bed keeps the base fixed and sets drawers into the side rails, so they pull out into the room rather than lifting, and the bedding stays in place. The range covers upholstered fabric, linen, boucle, teddy, velvet, PU and wooden finishes, and includes split bed bases as well as complete frames. Queen is the most widely stocked size, with Double and Super King also represented.
