Why choose a gas lift bed over drawers
Gas lift and drawer beds solve the same problem differently. A gas lift base gives you one large enclosed space you reach by lifting the whole mattress platform — better for duvets, spare linen and seasonal items you get to occasionally, and it needs no clearance beside the bed. Is it heavy to lift the bed open?

Can one person get it into the room and assemble it?
It arrives flat-packed in two cartons: 167 x 110 x 10 cm at 23 kg, and 211 x 31 x 20.5 cm at 28 kg. Moving it in is a two-person job — the 211 cm carton is the constraint through doorways and stairwells. Assembly is required once it is in the room.
What is teddy boucle, and how do I clean it?
Teddy boucle is a looped-pile upholstery fabric, so the texture comes from the loops themselves rather than from a printed pattern, and it is soft enough to lean back against. The specifications do not cover pilling, stain resistance or a cleaning code, so we do not make a care claim for it — ask us before using any wet or solvent cleaner.
Will it creak?
