A day bed is a Single bed frame set against a wall so it works as seating through the day and as a bed at night. Every day bed in Betalife's range is a Single frame carrying a second berth underneath on a pull out trundle, so one floor footprint holds two Single sleeping surfaces. Construction covers polyester fabric upholstery over wooden flat slats, pine and plywood frames, and a metal frame, in white, cream, pearl and pink. The Joyce frame measures 216 x 106 x 84cm overall, with a lower bed space of 194 x 94.5 x 26cm. Because the lower berth takes its own Single mattress, a day bed set up for two sleepers is a two mattress purchase.
