Micro-coils are the reason for the name. They are small enough and fine enough to respond to the shape of a shoulder rather than the weight of a body, so the surface follows you more closely than foam alone would, while the deep unit underneath keeps doing the support. Above them: 2.5 cm of foam, then high-density foam, 20D foam and a 1 cm memory layer under the euro top. The queen weighs 48 kg. It arrives rolled and compressed rather than flat, which is what lets a 32 cm mattress come into the house as a parcel one or two people can steer.
