Questions before you buy
What mattress size fits the Davraz double bed frame?
A standard double mattress, 138 x 188 cm, fits this frame. It rests on the wooden slat base between the headboard and footboard, and the mattress is sold separately.
How tall are the headboard and footboard?
The headboard stands 93.5 cm from the floor and the footboard 50 cm. Both carry vertical panelling, and turned corner posts rise past each rail at the four corners.
How much floor space does the Davraz double take?
203 x 148.2 cm assembled. The footboard sits at the end of that footprint, so allow walking room past it rather than measuring only to the mattress edge.
Can boxes be stored under the Davraz double?
Yes. About 23 cm of clearance sits under the frame, which takes flat storage tubs, vacuum bags of bedding or low rolling drawers.
How many cartons does the Davraz double arrive in?
Two cartons: 198 x 22.5 x 16 cm at 17.3 kg, and 146.5 x 46 x 11 cm at 16.5 kg. The second carton is the wide one, so measure doorways on width as well as length.
What style is the Davraz bed frame?
Modern rustic, with vertical panelling across the headboard and footboard and turned posts at the corners. The white finish over pine keeps the look light rather than heavy country.
Does the Davraz double need a base under the mattress?
No separate base is needed. Wooden slats span the frame and carry a double mattress on their own, so the mattress goes straight onto the slats.
