The Vinson queen bed base is made in New Zealand and arrives fully built, so there is nothing to assemble. The upholstered box measures 153 x 203 cm and is 24 cm deep, standing 39 cm from the floor on six legs, which leaves 15 cm of clearance underneath for storage. The mattress sits on top of the padded platform rather than inside rails, so it takes a standard 153 x 203 cm queen mattress flush to the edges. Metal struts run through the base for support, the frame is padded with foam and covered in grey polyester, and headboard screw holes are set 91.5 cm apart. The mattress and headboard are sold separately.
