Description
Two pillows arrive in one carton, so a bed is finished in a single order. Each Purity Rest pillow is 70 × 40 × 15 cm and filled with shredded gel-infused memory foam, which moves and settles rather than holding one fixed contour. The bamboo-fabric cover unzips for washing and is treated to resist bacteria and mites.
70 × 40 cm each, 15 cm of fill
70 × 40 × 15 cm
Each of the two Purity Rest pillows is 70 cm across, 40 cm deep and 15 cm of loft. That is a long pillow face and a tall fill height, so there is material to work with whichever way you lie. Because the fill is shredded rather than a solid block, the 15 cm compresses under your head and builds back up around it.
Fill that moves with you
Shredded memory foam behaves differently to a moulded core. The pieces slide against each other, so the pillow takes the shape of your head and neck and re-forms when you roll over, which is why Betalife lists it for all sleep positions. Gel is infused through the foam, and the gaps between the pieces let air circulate instead of trapping heat in a solid mass. The fill is built to hold its shape rather than pack into one end.
Bamboo cover over shredded gel foam
The cover is an anti-bacterial bamboo fabric, zipped and removable. Inside sits shredded gel memory foam. Bamboo fabric is used here for breathability and for its anti-mite and anti-bacterial treatment, which counts for more on a pillow that visitors will use than on one person's own bed.

Washing and refreshing
Unzip both bamboo covers and wash them on their own, cool, then dry fully before refitting. Shake and knead each pillow afterwards to redistribute the shredded fill across the 70 cm face. The foam fill itself is spot cleaned and air dried. A regular shake keeps the fill spread out and the 15 cm loft even.
Where the Purity Rest set earns its place
This is the set for a guest room bed you make up two or three times a year. Two pillows land in one 43 × 35.5 × 18.5 cm carton, the shredded fill suits whichever way your visitors sleep, and the bamboo covers are anti-mite for a bed that sits unused between stays. Wash both covers before the first guest.
How many pillows come in the Purity Rest set?
Two Betalife Purity Rest Shredded Memory Foam Pillows arrive in a single carton measuring 43 × 35.5 × 18.5 cm at 3.6 kg. Each pillow is 70 × 40 × 15 cm, and the 3 kg product weight covers the pair. Buying them as a set means both sides of a double or queen bed are matched, which matters when two people swap sides.
Are the Purity Rest pillows suitable for side sleepers?
The Purity Rest pillows carry 15 cm of shredded fill across a 70 × 40 cm face, and Betalife lists them for all sleep positions. For side sleeping the fill packs under the head and builds up in the gap above the shoulder. If the loft feels tall, press the fill outwards towards the edges before you lie down to lower the centre.
Are the Purity Rest pillow covers removable and washable?
Each pillow has its own zipped bamboo-fabric cover that comes off for washing. Wash cool, dry fully, and refit before use. The bamboo fabric is treated to be anti-bacterial and anti-mite, so the cover does the hygiene work and is also the part you can clean. The shredded foam fill stays out of the machine and is spot cleaned instead.
Will the shredded fill in the Purity Rest pillow pack down over time?
The fill is made to hold its structure rather than compact into one end of the pillow, and it is designed to keep the 15 cm shape through normal use. A shake and a knead every week or two spreads the shredded pieces back across the 70 cm face. Treat it like a duvet: a few seconds of fluffing does the job.
Why is the Purity Rest cover made from bamboo fabric?
Bamboo fabric is used on the Purity Rest pillows for airflow and for its anti-bacterial and anti-mite treatment. That pairs with a shredded gel memory foam fill, where air moves through the gaps between foam pieces and then needs a breathable cover to move out through. For allergy-prone sleepers, a washable bamboo cover is the practical part of the design.
What size carton do the Purity Rest pillows ship in?
The pair ships compressed in a carton measuring 43 × 35.5 × 18.5 cm and weighing 3.6 kg, which is smaller than a single 70 × 40 × 15 cm pillow laid flat. Open the carton, take both pillows out and let them expand for several hours before use. They reach full 15 cm loft on their own, and a light shake helps them get there.
