Questions before you buy
What mattress size fits the Ohio queen wooden bed base?
A standard 153 x 203 cm queen mattress, resting straight on the fixed slats. Order queen sheets and a queen duvet to match; the mattress is sold separately.
How much space is under the Ohio queen base?
About 25 cm of clearance, open on all sides between the round pine legs. Low storage boxes, flat suitcases and a robot vacuum fit underneath.
How high does the Ohio queen base sit?
28 cm to the top of the slats. With a mattress on top the sleeping surface stays low, which suits a room with low windows or a sloping ceiling.

Solid slats fixed to the pine frame, with legs down the centre line as well as the corners. The mattress goes straight onto the slats.
Is the Ohio queen base suitable for a rental or guest room?
The plain pine build, fixed slats and matte low-maintenance finish are aimed at spare rooms, kids' rooms and properties where a base has to take repeated use.
How is the Ohio queen base delivered?
