Questions before you buy
What mattress size fits the Modu Super King?
A 183 x 203 cm super king mattress, as stated by the supplier. The mattress is bought separately. Measure an existing mattress first and check that its maker allows use on a sprung wooden slat base.
How much storage is there under the Modu Super King?
One compartment 30 cm deep running the full 221 x 200.5 cm footprint, opened by lifting the whole mattress platform. It suits spare duvets, pillows and seasonal bedding rather than tall rigid boxes.
Will a Modu Super King fit a standard New Zealand bedroom?
The assembled frame is 221 cm long and 200.5 cm wide, so a room needs roughly 3.2 m of width to leave walking space on both sides. Measure the room before ordering.
Which part of the Modu Super King carries the mattress?
13 x 2 wooden bent slats, each 1.8 cm thick, sit across the lifting platform, braced by two iron tube centre supports. The stated weight capacity is 210 kg.
How tall is the Modu Super King headboard?
Overall height is 95 cm, of which the channel-stitched upholstered panel is 64.5 cm. Check that figure against windowsills, wall lights and shelving behind the bed before you position it.
What do the Modu Super King cartons measure?
Two cartons: 204 x 96.5 x 12 cm at 27 kg, and 211 x 32 x 33 cm at 28 kg. Measure doorways, lift cars and stair turns against the longer carton before delivery day.
