Best for nine compartments across a metre of wall
Shared or busy bedrooms where sorting matters more than drawer size. The black walnut Madilyn puts nine fabric drawers into a 100cm by 30cm footprint just under a metre tall, so each person or category gets its own compartment. Fabric drawers are for clothing and light items, not heavy storage.
Will the black walnut Madilyn 9-drawer unit fit a one-metre wall run?
Width is 100cm on the black walnut Madilyn 9 Drawers Tallboy, with a depth of 30cm and a height of 99cm. A one-metre wall run is therefore the bare minimum, so allow a little extra either side rather than wedging the frame in, plus clear floor in front for the drawers.
What can the nine fabric drawers on the black walnut Madilyn hold?
Nine high-grade fabric drawers give the black walnut Madilyn its full storage capacity, listed for clothes, toys, personal items and even snacks. Nine separate compartments in a 99cm-tall frame let you sort by category rather than piling items together. Each drawer sits within the 30cm depth, which caps how much any one takes.
What is the black walnut finish on the 99cm Madilyn tallboy?
A dark black walnut grain finish covers the board surface of the 99cm-tall Madilyn tallboy, with a protective coating listed over the wood board. MDF board sits behind that finish, supported by a metal frame and a V-shaped metal back rod. Wipe the coated top rather than soaking it when cleaning.
Does the black walnut Madilyn 9-drawer tallboy sit level on carpet or timber?
Adjustable legs are listed on the black walnut Madilyn 9 Drawers Tallboy, intended to keep it balanced and to protect the floorboard beneath. On carpet, adjust the legs after the unit is in its final position; on timber, level it before loading so the drawers run square in the 100cm-wide frame.
How big is the delivery carton for the black walnut 9-drawer Madilyn?
One carton of 111cm x 37cm x 16.5cm weighing 15.3kg brings the black walnut Madilyn tallboy flat-packed. The 111cm length is the figure to check against tight stair turns and lift doors, since the box is longer than the finished 100cm width. Assembly happens in the room where the unit will stand.
Can the black walnut Madilyn 9-drawer unit go somewhere other than a bedroom?
Closet, hallway, living room, bedroom and office are all listed placements for the black walnut Madilyn 9 Drawers Tallboy. Its 30cm depth is the reason it works in a hallway, where a deeper chest would narrow the walkway. The 99cm-high top then doubles as a surface for keys and post.
