Best for slim gaps beside a wardrobe or bed
Bedrooms with a narrow leftover gap rather than a full wall. The Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy is just 40cm wide and 30cm deep but stands 93.7cm tall, turning a slim space into four drawers of clothing storage. At 5.9kg assembled it is easy to reposition, and the black finish works beside a wardrobe, in an office nook or at the end of a hallway.
Will the black Hailey tallboy fit a 40cm gap beside a wardrobe?
The Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy is 40cm wide, 30cm deep and 93.7cm high, so a 40cm gap is the exact minimum and anything less will not take it. Measure the gap at both floor and shoulder height before ordering. The black unit needs clear space in front as well, since the drawers pull straight out from a shallow 30cm body.
How do the four drawers in the black Hailey tallboy divide up?
Four polyester fabric drawers stack the 93.7cm height of the Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy, giving four separate compartments in a 40cm-wide body. That suits socks, underwear, t-shirts and accessories kept apart rather than bulky bedding. Fabric drawers are breathable and easy to maintain, so the black unit works well for clothing used and put away daily.
Is 93.7cm a usable surface height on the black Hailey tallboy?
The 93.7cm top of the Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy sits around waist to chest height for most adults, which makes it a practical landing spot for keys, a small lamp or a plant rather than a display shelf you look down on. Keep heavier items low and centred on the black unit, since the top surface measures only 40cm by 30cm.
What is the top of the black Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy made from?
High-quality MDF board forms the wood top of the Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy, supported by a sturdy metal frame with polyester fabric drawers below. The board surface carries the natural wood-grain texture that runs through the Hailey range. Wipe the black top with a dry or barely damp cloth and avoid leaving standing water on the board edges.
Can one person move the black Hailey 4-drawer tallboy?
Assembled weight is 5.9kg for the Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy, so one adult can lift or slide it with the drawers removed. Height-adjustable plastic foot pads underneath protect floors from scratches as it moves. Reset those pads once the black unit is in position, so the frame sits level before the fabric drawers go back in.
What size carton does the black Hailey tallboy arrive in?
One carton of 43.5cm x 31.5cm x 14cm weighing 6.3kg holds the flat-packed Hailey 4 Drawers Tallboy. That is a compact box by furniture standards and straightforward to carry through a house. Assembly is required for the black unit — clear a small floor area and keep the fabric drawers aside until the frame is built.
