What does the gel memory foam layer do?
It is a 1 cm layer under the euro top. It softens the first few centimetres and spreads pressure where you press into it, which takes some of the hardness off a 2 out of 10 surface. It is a comfort layer and nothing more. Under the euro top of a single it is the first thing you meet.

What sheets do I need for this mattress?
At 30 cm deep this needs deep-wall single fitted sheets; standard-depth sheets tend to pull off the corners. Single fitted sheets are easy to find in New Zealand; check the packet quotes a wall depth of at least 30 cm.
Can this mattress be flipped?
The comfort layers are on one side, so it is a single-sided mattress. Rotate it head to foot every few months, which spreads the wear along the 188 cm length.
