Carton A is 153 x 203 x 39 cm — the full size of the base. Measure doorways, corners and stairwells before delivery.
Questions before you buy
Is a headboard included?
No. The Charles queen is a bed base only. A headboard and a mattress are both bought separately.
Does it need assembly?
No. It arrives built, which means it also ships at full size: 153 x 203 x 39 cm. Check your access route before delivery day.
What mattress does it take?
An NZ standard queen, 153 x 203 cm. The base is the same footprint, so a correctly sized mattress sits flush with the edges.
How many drawers does it have?
Four, built into the base, with 15 cm of under-bed clearance listed in the specifications.
How high is the bed once a mattress is on it?
The base alone is 39 cm. Add the depth of your mattress to work out the finished height.
Where is it made?
New Zealand. Place of origin is listed as New Zealand in the product specifications.
