Tegan Bedside Table - Light Teak + White

The Tegan measures 45 cm wide by 43 cm deep and 49 cm high. That depth gives a usable top surface for a lamp and a book together, but check the gap beside your bed, because 43 cm can crowd a narrow walkway.

Internal drawer dimensions are 31.8 x 35 x 15.2 cm, suited to chargers, medication, notebooks and remote controls. A metal pocket handle sits flush in the drawer front, so nothing protrudes into the walkway. The open shelf below takes books or a folded throw you want within reach.

MDF board and particle board form the Tegan, with a metal pocket handle and a wood-look paper lamination finish in light teak and white. Paper lamination sits on the surface, so wipe spills promptly and skip abrasive cleaners. The 11 kg assembled weight keeps it stable without being hard to move.

A single carton of 56 x 50.5 x 10.5 cm at 12 kg arrives flat, and assembly is required. One person can carry it, though the 56 cm length needs both hands. Fit the drawer runners before attaching the top so the frame stays square as you work.

A 49 cm height suits beds whose mattress top sits around the same level, which covers many standard bases. Measure from floor to mattress surface and compare before ordering. If your mattress sits considerably higher, the top of the Tegan will feel low when you reach for it at night.
